Who we are

Workplace Digest (“we,” “us”) operates www.workplacedigest.org. Questions about this policy can be sent through our Contact page.

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to submit through our forms, which may include:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, and phone number
  • Details about your career stage, goals, organization, or event (speaking inquiries, mentorship applications, registrations)
  • A brief description of your circumstances and goals, if you apply for a need-based scholarship
  • Prayer requests and any details you choose to include in them
  • Nominations for the Everyday Leadership Wall, including information about the person you nominate
  • Your email preferences, if you sign up to Stay Connected
  • Your acknowledgment of the faith-informed content of the Future-Proof Professional program, with the time you gave it

We don’t ask for bank records, medical diagnoses, government ID numbers, or similar sensitive documents. Please don’t include them in any form.

How we use it

  • To respond to you and provide the service you asked about
  • To review applications, nominations, and registrations
  • To send the emails you opted into, and only those
  • To keep records needed for payments, accounting, and legal obligations

Sensitive submissions

Prayer requests, scholarship applications, and mentorship applications are intended to be accessible only to the people at Workplace Digest who need them (for example, the designated prayer team for prayer requests). They are never posted publicly. Everyday Leadership nominations are published only after review and with the nominee’s consent.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the site and our services. Depending on which services are connected, these may include Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), Kit (email delivery and preferences), Calendly (scheduling), Stripe (payments), and a merchandise fulfillment provider. Each provider processes information under its own privacy terms. Google Fonts is used to display the site’s typefaces, which means your browser requests font files from Google.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated, and a cookie notice will be added where required.

Email choices

Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link and a way to manage your preferences. You can also ask us to stop at any time.

How long we keep information

We keep submissions only as long as needed for the purpose they were shared for, then delete them. [Retention periods by form to be set during legal review; for example, prayer requests deleted after a set period.]

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and college-age students. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We’ll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
