Why I created this
Born from two layoffs, and what each one taught me.
The Future-Proof Professional was born from my own layoff journey.
When I was laid off from Google, the hardest part was identity. I had to learn that who I am is bigger than any job title, and that my worth did not leave the building with my badge.
By the time my second layoff came, I had done that work. This time, the questions were practical and pressing: how to steward my finances, my relationships, and every opportunity in front of me, so that one decision made in a boardroom could not undo everything I had built.
That season taught me that future-proofing isn’t about holding on to one job forever. It’s about building the judgment, relationships, capabilities, and resilience to keep moving when work changes. I created this workshop so you don’t have to learn it the hard way.
