Mental Strength for the Modern Professional

A 30-Days Guided Journal Navigating Stress, Change and Pressure

This book was born during a season of anxiety, overwhelm, and pressure in my professional and personal life. What emerged was a desire to offer other professionals practical support for strengthening their mindset, developing resilience, and navigating everyday challenges with greater intention.

This 30-day guided book brings together research-informed workplace insights, practical strategies, reflective exercises, and faith-based encouragement. It explores perseverance, emotional awareness, mental strength, and choices that shape our responses to stress, change, and pressure.

Echoes of Love To my Dear Professional Self

This book began while I was still employed and applying for new opportunities, experiencing rejection after rejection. I began writing letters of encouragement to professionals who might also be navigating uncertainty, disappointment, and waiting.

What started as a newsletter grew into a collection of letters and additional reflections: a reminder that professional journeys are not always linear and that rejection does not determine our worth or what may still be possible.

Career Etiquette Handbook

A Workplace Digest Resource

When I graduated and started my first job, nobody handed me a manual for how any of this actually worked. I learned the unwritten rules slowly, through trial and error, sometimes painfully, over an eight-year career in recruiting.

Along the way, I watched enormously talented people stall out, not because they lacked skill, but because nobody taught them how a workplace really operates. This handbook exists to close that gap: how to communicate, build relationships, navigate conflict, protect your well-being, and steward your opportunities. That value travels with you. A title doesn’t.

The Other Side of the Table

A Job Seeker’s Handbook

For more than eight years, I sat on one side of the hiring table. I wrote the screening questions, sat in the debrief rooms, and sent the rejection emails. Then, after being laid off twice, I found myself on the other side of that same table as a candidate.

In today’s market, I watched capable, qualified people apply again and again with no idea what was happening behind the scenes. This book is what I wish every job seeker knew: how hiring decisions are really made, what silence and rejection often mean, and how to move through your search with clarity, intention, and confidence.

Beyond OPT

A Recruiter’s Guide to Navigating U.S. Hiring as an International Student

From the recruiting side of the table, I watched talented international students struggle, not for lack of ability, but because no one had explained how U.S. hiring actually works. I saw the same misconceptions again and again, and the same questions left unanswered.

This guide brings my practical, inside view of recruiting to the questions international students face most: how screening really works, when work authorization enters the conversation, and how to build real value employers can see. It won’t promise sponsorship. It will help you understand the system you’re in and move through it with clarity and confidence.

Career Fair Playbook

How to prepare, read the room, ask better questions, and turn conversations into better career decisions

When I was in college, no one really explained career fairs to me: how to prepare, who I was talking to, or what to do once I walked away from the table. Years later, I stood on the other side of that table as a recruiter for college, internship, and diversity hiring.

Again and again, I watched talented students reach the front of a long line still trying to work out where they might fit. This free playbook gives you a recruiter’s view from behind the booth, so you can prepare with intention, ask better questions, and turn each conversation into a real next step.

You’re Laid Off. Now What?

A practical, human guide through the shock, the waiting, and the rebuilding

I wrote this guide because I have been laid off twice. When I went looking for help, I found plenty of advice on résumés, LinkedIn, and interviews. Those things matter, but nothing walked with me through the layoff itself.

Losing a job can shake more than your income. It can unsettle your sense of who you are. This free guide walks with you through the shock, the empty days, the money pressure, and the waiting, with practical steps, faith-filled encouragement, and a reminder that your job ended, but your worth did not.
